New and modern property; Big room; Great location (walking distance from Canton Tower, immediately next to 3 big shopping malls); Fast check-in and check-out; Good breakfast

Not the best soundproofing (could hear the upstairs neighbours, as well as people passing on the hallway); The deposit (the value of a night’s stay) not advertised properly on Booking; No bathrobes; Some small cleanliness details in the shower cabin.

The view was great. Quite a lot of options for breakfast and it’s definitely good value for your money. I’ll highly recommend and stay everytime I’m here.

Would have wanted a microwave in the room but I got their staffs everytime I needed it.

We would like to see more vegetarian portions in the breakfast menu.

first the room is very spacious and very clean, also staff very helpful eventhough they don't speak english but they prepare the translation device so we could understand them, breakfast was good, many selection from chinese dimsum to western food such as steak is such a treat. highly recomended for business and family vacation trip.

the only drawback is the elevator , only few to support from room to lobby, and the elevator was longer to stop at the room floor compare to the lobby. so maybe the setting could be make to stop to room floor the same as to the lobby.

The location is good..

I booked the room with Tower View.. however what I got is City view room.. and the staff was not supporting to resolve the issue.

Since we stayed at the same hotel chain in Shanghai and really liked it, we decided to go with Holiday Inn here in Guangzhou as well.Unfortunately, this time the experience was quite disappointing. There was a terrible smell in the room that lasted throughout our entire stay — kind of like mold coming from the air conditioner. The hallway also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I can’t really explain why, but it was really unpleasant to stay in the room.The cleanliness wasn’t great either — we had the impression that the bed sheets and pillowcases were a bit damp. The hotel overall feels quite old and worn out. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. If you’re traveling from Europe, be prepared that the power outlets might not work well with your devices (like Dyson hair dryers or regular chargers).In the photos the hotel looks nice — probably taken when it first opened — but the reality now is quite different.The room itself was fairly big and spacious, and the location is convenient, close to many tourist attractions. There are also three washing machines and dryers available for guests, which is a plus. But all the issues mentioned above really made our stay unpleasant. Luckily, we only stayed two nights — any longer would’ve been too much.

The stay was beautiful and the location of the hotel is close to the attractions.‏The hotel employees very helpful specially JANNI he helped us to recover a sum of money from the seller (shipment) on the wechat program because we don't have an account in a Chinese bank.‏I will book the stay again on the second visit to Guangzhou.

Excellent location in the CBD area, close to shopping mall and the gardens which leads to Canton Tower which is a pleasant walk, past the Guangzhou Library.

Entrance is on the side road, but once you find it, easily accessible.

Great location, this is my 3rd time staying at this hotel previously it was H'Elite and now under Holiday Inn.Great breakfast selection...

Hope the front desk could be more consistent when assisting... some are helpful while some don't speak english very well and hard to communicate. also when asking for directions they are not very clear at times...

Taking 2 elevators

I stayed at this hotel in 2019 and we absolutely loved it — the room was very spacious with modern wooden furniture, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect, close to the mall and restaurants. However, this time our experience was completely different. The hotel felt very run-down, the beds were hard as rocks, and it seemed like no one at the hotel spoke English.

Everything was dirty and not properly cleaned, the rooms were outdated, the beds were hard as rocks. rooms small, the bed is not a king size-

Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options, the rooms were large and very clean with beautiful views. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, daniel helped me to arrange transportation and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. I will be staying here again. The location was also fantastic I could walk most places I needed to go.

Construction was happening so it was a bit noisey and the gym was closed for maintenance but I was aware before booking so it was not an issue.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. They greet you with a smile and good morning whenever they see you. Breakfast is ok with a variety of local food, just the choice for fruits is a bit less. They are very generous with the bottle water provided in the room.

There is no hanging hook in the bathroom, and no hand wash in the basin area.

The courier receiving room at Ground Floor staff not helpful. Packages few times send cannot be found.Staff not helpful.

Clean spacious room, all toiletries are provided, nearby is a nice restaurant and Starbucks.

Good breakfast, Location was very good considering where my office is but its a bit remote from turistic areas if that is the preference. When preparing the trip i got very good on line support to arrange airport pickup.

Breakfast was good, lots of variety. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly, location is very good, close to metro. The room is very size, pretty large.

Lobby is not on the 1st floor.
